Modern Martial Art Concepts

In the beginning of anything one thing is formed from another. All styles are a relationship of the same principle and concepts. Here are a few examples and you can see the resemblance, Karate (empty hand) variety of styles, Tae Kwon Do (way punching and kicking) variety of styles, Arnis (hardness of the hand), Panuntukan (Filipino boxing), Sikaran (Filipino kicking), Muay Thai (thai fighting), Savate (French kick boxing), Chuan Fa (Chinese boxing), Judo (gentle way), Chin Na (seize and control), and Jujitsu (art of gentleness) plus many others. They all have the same principles just some are more elaborate and focused on specified areas like punching, kicking or joint locking.

As you know there are variations of each individual style that are based on ones preferred methods and studies. How something new comes about is how dedicated one will study in order to become well rounded towards any unexpected attack. As a lawyer or doctor you must understand the valid principle to excel. Once you have made the understanding it is up to you to progress.

It is a very common occurrence when you have people study many style of martial arts, even though some may claim to stick with one preferred system or combine to make anew.

This here is only a stepping stone where people can fine tune their normal studies into a more open approach. In martial arts everything is borrowed by techniques, but knowing that martial arts evolves only in one direction that is straight forward, for the good or bad. It may veer side to side but always protruding forward with different principles and concepts.

Here is where everyone can share their abilities and trade off in comparison of style, techniques and philosophies.

Modern Martial Art Concepts are derived from multiple fighting arts. The methods are formed from different feelings coming from the assailant and the could be victim. In reality based situations it is a no-holds barred, no rules, no referee, just straight savage fighting for survival and/or domination.

The means of learning survival is to boost up your instinctive actions. As we all were a baby, we know automatically how to bite, pinch, pull, gouge eyes and hit sensitive areas. Through the principle behind any martial art is to fine tune your tools to have the right tool for the right time. As well develop attributes to react on instinctive action with the minimal or maximal power and technique needed for the situation.

Timing + Technique = Skill

In order for most people to develop skill is over time, but with practice and with the precise tactic with minimal training you possibly could do the same amount of damage or greater. Still you must have the understanding of the reasoning and have discipline for control.

                        BASIC UNDERSTANDING:

Learn Proper – Stances and Footwork

Fundamentals of Defense – blocks, parries, and destructions

Fundamentals of Offense – punching, kicking, head butts, knees, elbows

Learn Trapping

Learn to commence into grappling (standing & ground)

Learn to take on multiple opponents

Learn to use improvised weapons

The science in fighting is to be able to dissect each technique so that you are able to use, by understanding the principles and reasoning of employment of the techniques which relate to concepts and principles.

The philosophy of this is compared to the Yin and Yang theory. As in all natural relationships there is an equal result from the oncoming force, whether it will be from focused training and development or counter for counter of an attack. There are always evolution in tactics but with the proper mind set and understanding.

Modern Martial Art Concepts is based of reality and everyday useful techniques and tactics. In this system/association, you are given the opportunity to develop your personal ways through on-direct certifications. In addition to any other methods learned you will be giving other citations of recognition/achievement/instructor level or rank and style.

There are different levels of certifications to achieve, but understand one must need to know and learn. How are fights already predetermined? The one who has the most will and determination will win regardless of the nature of ones skill or technique but these principles.

                The different types of certifications are placed in different categorizes to be taught;

1. On Line Course: consisting of an average of 80 hrs of training and with a review by video of techniques taught and ones used for ones own use. This is formed by the person’s capability of not being able to be in person and take it at there leisure.

2. Directed Personal Seminar for Street Defense: One on One teaching

Vaules of Life; Loyalty, Respect, Dedication, Will, Integrity & Honor

Reality Training

First when your training starts, it is not how you train but for the meaning behind it. Everyone's training is different, but does it relate? It should. For most key factors are to deter any physical confrontation at the lowest harm needed and the other is for health benefits. Going along with the physical portion, you must understand what self defense is and for why it is used. It is not defense if you are intending to greater harm than the assailant. If you are doing every possible means to justify the situation then you are possible in good standing. Just remember if 2 or more people are intending to do harm to each other then it is a fight, not justification of self defense.

Emotion Commotion

Many people they tend to have their personnel misconceptions or ideas of what martial art is, what is it really? To you? How do you feel in it or about it? Martial Art’s is a way of living, a way of life, for that is my personal feeling. For that as long as you feel in something you know that it is right to you.

From the beginning Martial Arts became from a combat orientated skill that was used for protection for person and property. Nowadays it is still in relativity the same yet the martial arts that most people go to veer towards moral values and discipline, as to learning Respect and Honor.

For there are so many types of instructors and students who believe in what martial art is by the person who made it famous, regardless the knowledge. As towards people who are not open minded but tunneled in what they see by popularity.

Knowledge is knowledge passed on by any which way regardless on the teacher. The importance is the effectiveness in which it is displayed and the moral values of its intent.

Some people degrade on the traditional ways for they are too flashy and seem not to work in the street (so they may say) but its intent is to better oneself. As to Mixed Martial Artist which is more direct and savage propelling, either way you choose there are values based on moral approaches.

People Who Wants To Learn

There are 2 types of people that want to learn, those who want to learn and those who have the will to learn. Within these two groups you have people who want to learn from a specific instructor, learn multiple styles or just want to learn something so they can have some form of an idea of how to execute proper techniques. There are some many people who want to learn, For What! Do they really know, some just want to have a better fighting skill, others want to find out how to defend them-selves and some just want to learn to perfect themselves in an art and learn discipline. Some people ask what should I learn or what do I need, but naturally your body will tell you and you then perfect it. You automatically know how to bite, pinch, pull, push, grab, scratch, and do a form of an un-developed attack. This is where martial arts come in to play. You already have the basic concepts of attack but martial art forms teaches you on how to perfect it in accordance with your well being and your actions on how to employ the technique and mentally stabilize your mind.

People also ask well what style is better or this style is the best. It is all decided upon ones self which is best for you and that there are no real better styles only ones that may touch base more on there hands or legs then the others but all have beneficial actions whether it is the concepts or an employment of the technique. People also have that subjective question well this person must be good, "he/she has won several tournaments, this person is on T.V or they've been studying for years" all is true to a point. Publicity helps develop the name but not the person.
